Volunteers are needed throughout the year in the classroom, at home, on school committees, and with ongoing programs and special events. Volunteer needs will be communicated throughout the year on our Facebook page, school and PTA Web sites, teacher newsletters and room parent emails. A few upcoming volunteer opportunities include:
Room Parent: Each teacher will secure at least one room parent to help organize classroom special events/volunteers and to relay PTA information to the other classroom parents. Teachers will ask for room parent volunteers at Meet the Teacher and/or during the first week of school. There will be a Room Parent Information Meeting for all selected room parents (You will receive an email if you are chosen to serve as a room parent).
EagleFest Carnival & Silent Auction: Our annual school carnival will be held on Friday, Sept. 27 from 4:30-8:30 pm. The kids (and parents) love this event! It is one of our biggest fundraisers and in order to make it successful, we need a large number of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer or know of any organizations (Scouts, Beta Clubs, etc.) that would like to earn service hours by volunteering at the carnival, please fill out the form below.
Publishing Center: Volunteers are needed to help publish books for students who have written a story. Volunteers may get involved in any step of the process on a "drop-in" basis as schedule allows.
